Description
Another member of the Ramphastos genus, this toucan is distinguished from its relatives by the exact pattern of colour across its bill – a detail 19th-century naturalists relied on to tell the many toucan species apart in the field. This plate captures that bill pattern in fine, hand-finished colour.
Available unframed or framed in white, wood or black, and sized from A4 up to A0 to suit any wall. Hang it alone as a statement piece, or group it with others from this vintage natural history series for a curated gallery wall.
